You may have seen on social media how Bali has become increasingly busy, with crowded streets, endless traffic jams, and certain areas feeling more packed than ever. But sometimes, we forget that Bali is so much more than just one little corner of the island. Aside from the popular hotspots like Canggu, there are still plenty of places where you can slow down, be close to nature, and experience a more peaceful side of Bali.
Ubud is one of those places where you’ll find lush greenery, traditional Balinese charm, and those dreamy Eat Pray Love moments, all set against the backdrop of rice fields and jungle landscapes. But beyond its spiritual retreats and cultural experiences, Ubud has also grown into a vibrant destination with modern cafes, creative hangout spots, and beautiful restaurants offering everything from casual bites to luxurious dining experiences with infinity pools overlooking the rice terraces.
Whether you’re looking for a simple cup of coffee or a scenic lunch spot, Kata Bella team has put together a list of some of our favourite Ubud cafes and restaurants for you to explore on your next Bali holiday.
